Start with what you want to get back to: a comfortable workday, an easier walk, or sleep that pain does not interrupt. Your first visit is a chance to explain the problem, ask questions and understand your options before deciding on care.
At Source Chiropractic we treat every patient as an individual. We understand that each chiropractic patient is different and has different goals. Our team will work with you to provide the care you are looking for, and we are happy to talk about insurance before you book.
New patients. Read the new patient special for the current price, included services and offer terms. The examination guides recommendations; x-rays and treatment are not automatic.
Medicare, Medicaid, and other applicable federal healthcare program beneficiaries are excluded from this promotional offer.
What people come to us with
Four of the complaints people bring to us. Each one has a page of its own explaining what it is and what an examination looks for.
Your first visit

You check in at the front desk on Memorial Drive. We begin with your history and an examination. Explain when symptoms began, what makes them better or worse, and which activities matter to you. Bring your medication list, relevant reports and questions about previous care. X-rays are considered when clinically appropriate; an adjustment is not a required part of every first appointment.
Before agreeing to a plan, ask what the findings mean, what benefit is realistic, what risks apply to you, and what alternatives are available. Ask how progress will be measured and when the plan would change. If we are not able to help you with your problem or are unable to reduce your pain levels, we will make sure to give you a recommendation to another experienced provider.
What to wear and bring
Choose comfortable clothes that let you move easily, and bring any questions about changing clothes or the examination to the team. Tell the clinician about injuries, surgery, pregnancy, osteoporosis, medicines and other ongoing care before treatment. You can ask for an explanation before an examination or treatment begins.
Review the new-patient paperwork information before your visit. Call if you need help preparing or want to discuss access needs.
Is chiropractic care safe for everyone?
No treatment is appropriate for everyone. Spinal manipulation can cause temporary soreness, stiffness or headache. Serious complications have been reported; their frequency and the contribution of manipulation are not always clear. Your history and the proposed technique belong in the risk discussion. NCCIH reviews benefits and safety.
For some musculoskeletal problems, manual care may help pain or movement. Exercise, physical therapy, medical assessment and supported self-management are other options to discuss. Read benefits, risks and alternatives and what a chiropractor can help with for more detail. Treatment should have a purpose you understand, with room to reconsider if it is not helping.
We also understand that many patients are looking for a chiropractor that takes insurance. We are happy to speak with you about that before you book.

Who you will see
